What we are doing here at the vineyard   

We want to reassure our guests, team members and suppliers, that we have taken every measure possible to help keep everyone safe but also want to ensure we don’t lose the essence of what we love to do every day.

We’ve all become more familiar with regular hand washing etc… our teams both front and back of house are all adhering to this before, during and after their shifts and to complement this we have hand sanitiser available around the site for both the team and the guests to use.

We ask if you or any in your party have any COVID symptoms in the run-up to your stay, please contact us to rearrange your visit.

Social Distancing / Face covering

Face coverings are required in our shop / reception area. Tables in our brasserie are well positioned and we’re lucky that we have plenty of space, both inside and out, so hopefully it will be easy for everyone to find their own space in which to feel comfortable.

Guest Bedrooms/ Lodges

Check in/ out. Reception is in the brasserie, just beyond our wonderful conker tree!

Room keys are sanitised between stays.

Our housekeepers are working hard to ensure your room is squeaky clean, using hospital-grade cleaning materials. They won’t be entering your room at all during your stay. Should you need anything replenishing during your stay, please ask and we’ll be happy to help.


We are open at lunchtime, 12-2pm, to non-residents on Saturday and Sunday only.

Dinner reservations are available from 6-8 pm

Tables and chairs are wiped down with antibacterial/antiviral spray between use.

Menus are available to view on our website for you to order from, we also single use menus. Our wine list is laminated & wiped between each use

We’ll bring your meal to your table, but continue to ask you to pour your own wine and water. Although keeping our distance, we will be on hand should you need anything.

We’re excited to offer our Tapas inspired menu!  With a focus on casual dining, we have a great range of ‘small plates’ designed for sharing. Perfect to complement our wine.

Our menus do not change daily.

Resident’s Breakfast

To ensure breakfast is served efficiently, we ask guests to order their breakfast as part of the check in process. Tables will be ready for you with everything you requested when you arrive at your allocated time in the morning. We have just 1 chef and 1 server looking after you and so need to stagger the arrival times out evenly between our serving hours. We appreciate your co-operation if your preferred time is not allocated to you.

Winery Tour & Tasting (Non Residents)

Available on Saturday & Sundays at either 11.30 or 2pm. Pre booking is essential. Priority will be given to those with existing vouchers and those wishing to stay for lunch. Drop-in wine tasting is not available.

Winery Tour & Tasting (Residents)

Starting at 4pm, a guide will take you into the winery. There is plenty of space for you to spread out as required. Tastings will be done at your leisure afterwards, with tasting notes for you to take home.

Cellar Door Shop 

Our shop is open 11am – 4pm daily.  This is a small area and although there are no restrictions on numbers, we ask guests to be mindful of others and wait in the courtyard if it looks particularly busy.

Seasonal Closure

We are closed from mid-day 24th December for an extended break, reopening on 1st February 2022

Our winery will be staffed from 10 January for trade enquiries. Call 01531 890555 option1

Online wine orders recommence from 10th January. Click & Collect will be available by arrangement.

Email all enquiries to as phones will not be fully manned throughout January. We will respond within 3 days. Please check our FAQ page to see if your question can be answered there.
