Virtual Wine Tasting – Saturday 30th May 2020

Hosted by Martin Fowke – our Head Wine Maker here at Three Choirs Vineyards.

Martin has been our head wine maker and production director for over 30 years at Three Choirs Vineyards. He oversees the entire production process from choosing which grape varieties we grow, to making the final important decisions on our wines before they go into the bottle.

He’ll be tasting 4 of our award-winning English Wines – Blanc De Noirs 2013, Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé 2014, Siegerrebe 2017 and Ravens Hill 2018 – and giving you insights and advice on the wines and our wine-making process.

We present two sparkling wines, one white and one rosé, that are made in small volumes from traditional grape varieties used in Champaign. We have then matched these to a still white (Siegerrebe) which is very aromatic and fruity. Due to popular request, we’ve added in one of our red wines to show how English reds have developed over the last few years.

Want to come and stay on our vineyard? Experience one of England’s oldest vineyards by sleeping amongst the vines, eating in our brasserie and tasting our award-winning English wine. Book it all online right here on our website!

Enjoy the tasting and look out for more! Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter to be the first to know.

Room Availability

We have been overwhelmed by the response since we opened up bookings, so we are sorry if you have been struggling to make a reservation for a room for July and August. Autumn is just as lovely in the vineyard and we have good availability from mid October onwards, so perhaps planning an Autumn escape might be the perfect thing to look forward to. There will be a table for you in our brasserie, so no need to book this separately as our online table booking system is currently suspended. Thank you for your unfailing support during this tricky time - your kind messages have kept us all going, and to those that have made a booking over the next couple of months, we very much appreciate that you have made making a visit to the Vineyard one of your first post lockdown priorities. We hope to see you for a glass of something fizzy soon!
