ENGLISH REGIONAL WINE 2018 – PGI Pending
HARVEST DETAILS The Vineyard is south facing on sandy loam soil. GDC trellis system with 800 vines per acre or 2000 per hectare. Most vines are 10-30 years old, all grapes are hand-picked. The 2018 harvest produced a good sized crop with excellent ripeness levels and below average acidity levels. Harvest was very early due to the good summer weather.

WINEMAKING DETAILS Gentle pneumatic pressing, yeast 71B, fermented at 16°c in stainless steel tanks. Bentonite fining. No MLF. DE Filter, sheet filter and membrane 0.45m.

GENERAL WINE DESCRIPTION
Subtle aromas of peach and lychee, soft and full on the palate, with a long, rich rounded finish. The early bottling has helped to capture the natural fruit characteristics of these aromatic varieties.
